GREG TOPPING Revenue Administration Advisor |
Greg Topping, an Australian National, joined CCAMTAC as Revenue Administration Advisor in May 2022. He spent much of his career with the Australian Taxation Office until 2016, of which 15 years as a Senior Executive with a range of national responsibilities. These included leadership for taxpayer accounting, debt & filing enforcement and the ATO’s shadow economy response. He has a significant tax reform experience and has provided technical assistance support in China, Papua New Guinea (as Deputy Commissioner of Taxation), and Indonesia (Lead Advisor, Directorate General of Taxes). He has been working as a Revenue and Tax Administration Expert for the IMF’s Fiscal Affairs Department since 2018 and was a Resident Revenue Administration Advisor in the Internal Revenue Department of Myanmar until January 2020. More recently, he has undertaken remote capacity development activities with tax administrations in Mauritania, Uzbekistan, and the Pacific Region. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Queensland.
